Ceramic-Art Residency is organized in Ureshino, Saga prefecture between November 4th and December 4th in collaboration with Hizen Yoshida Porcelain Revitalization Project.
The purpose of the residency is to offer one artist an opportunity to work in an innovative artist community in the countryside in Japan. The residency program will cover the artist´s travel and living expences, working space, as well as material costs according to a separate agreement. The residency period includes also a small scale exhibition of the artist’s residency work.
The application should include CV, portfolio and a working plan, and it should be written in english. The application must be sent before 11.10.2024 at 5 PM (Finnish time) in the address info@finstitute.jp. The possible questions should be addressed in the same email address.
