As a higher education student, you can apply for the EDUFI international internship in Japan through the Finnish National Agency for Education. The internship period at the Finnish Institute in Japan in Tokyo is September 1–December 31, 2026. The intern will participate in a wide range of activities related to the planning and implementation of the institute’s projects, events, and communications. Communication-related tasks include especially producing content for social media channels and updating the website. Working at the institute gives the intern the opportunity to apply and further develop previously acquired knowledge and experience in responsible work within a multicultural environment.
The position is particularly suitable for students who are in the master’s stage of their studies. The position requires excellent Finnish language skills and strong spoken and written English skills. In addition, practical knowledge of Japanese and familiarity with Japanese culture are required. Previous international experience is considered an advantage.
