The Finnish Institute in Japan works extensively in different fields of culture. The Institute produces an innovative and inspirational cultural program and creates interaction between different cultural and artistic actors in Finland and Japan.

Following its theme New Openings the Institute will organize new residencies such as residences associated with bio-art and gastronomy, as well as events that showcase fashion and literature from new perspectives.
