We organize scientific seminars and events that bring together Finnish and Japanese experts and stimulate public discussion on current issues.

The themes for the Finnish Institute in Japan in 2025 are creative aging, well-being and art, societal transformations in Finland and Japan, ethical challenges of new technologies, equality and equity, and sustainable development.
