The Finnish institute in Japan’s aging seminar ”Aging and Loneliness” was held on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 at 14:00-19:00PM as a hybrid event at the Metsä Pavilion and online in Zoom. This seminar focused on the loneliness and well-being of the elderly and share ideas about the issues regarding the aging society both in Finland and Japan.

Lectures were be given by: Research Fellow Aya Toyoshima (Kyoto University), Professor Katsunori Kondo (Chiba University), Assistant professor Elisa Tiilikainen (University of Eastern Finland) and Ms. Anu Jansson (PhD, Director of Development and Participation, The Finnish Association for the Welfare of Older People)
